We all know the importance of a balanced diet. However, one person’s healthy diet is not necessarily the ideal one for you. There needs to be a balance between your calorie intake and activity level. Weight gain and loss can occur when this balance tips.
Some healthy eating choices include higher fibre or wholegrain varieties of carbohydrates, i.e. brown rice. Unsurprisingly, consuming plentiful portions of vegetables and fruits and cutting down on salt are good ideas as well. These were only a few examples.
